okay, this is only funny if you realize that Garfield has been removed from the comic.
I guess I should have clarified that. The joke started by removing Garfield's text bubbles to make it more realistic. Like John was just talking ot his cat. But it was made funnier by removing Garfield altogether. Then the joke has gone further, by posting 3 empty boxes with Jim Davis' signature in the last one. Comedy gold, I tell ya!
